KUWAIT CITY, Jan 27: A restaurant in downtown Kuwait City has been administratively shut down by the Kuwait Municipality after a Saudi man and his Filipino girlfriend were caught red-handed committing an immoral act in one of the cabins of the restaurant, reports Al-Rai daily. The couple was caught by personnel from the Municipality emergency team during extensive inspection campaigns on cafes and restaurants.

Thieves caught: Personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department have arrested four Kuwaiti teenagers for breaking into cars parked near a jogging track in Firdous, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added, the arrest came after police received several complaints and put the track under surveillance. They saw one of the suspects breaking into a vehicle and when he sensed the presence of securitymen, he tried in vain to escape. He was chased and arrested and during interrogation he admitted to the charge and gave police the names of his accomplices. The juveniles have been referred to the Juvenile Prosecution.
