Filipina robbed – Booze in delivery van

KUWAIT CITY, July 13: Police are looking for 3 people for robbing a Filipina in Salmiya, reports Al-Anba daily. In her complaint to the Salmiya Police Station, the Filipina said she was on her way home when three people stopped her and stole KD 1,000 and a cell phone in her possession.

Booze in delivery van: Police have arrested an Indian driver working for a home delivery restaurant for selling booze, reports Al-Rai daily. The man was driving in Salmiya and looked confused when a police patrol passed by his car. Police then ordered him to pull over and seized from his vehicle 107 bottles of locally-manufactured alcohol. Police have also arrested his accomplice

Actress’s tantrums: Police rushed to a sweets shop in Salmiya after a salesman complained to the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry that an unidentified wellknown actress had shattered the façade of the shop because the sweets she had allegedly bought from the shop were not good enough, reports Al-Shahed daily. A police officer said the owner of the shop should file a complaint if he/she should choose to do so.

Wrong parking penalty: The Farwaniya police during a 2-hour traffic campaign has issued 69 citations against motorists, who had parked their cars in spaces allocated for the disabled, reports Al-Rai daily. Police have also impounded two cars because they did not meet road safety conditions
