KUWAIT CITY, Sept 2: Director of the Labor Inspection Department at the Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) Muhammad Al-Anssari has affirmed coordination between PAM and the Manpower and Government Restructuring Program (MGRP), pointing out that the latter was informed about results of inspecting nationals working in the private sector in order to take legal action against those involved in fake employment, reports Al-Jaridah daily. Al-Anssari said the files of the companies proven to have fake national manpower have been blocked, in addition to suspending the payment of national labor subsidy. He disclosed that his department receives applications from employers and owners of companies registered under the fifth item of the Public Institution for Social Security (PIFSS) and then they are inspected to assure they are committed to employing the registered manpower in their files. He stressed that legal measures are taken against violating companies which are referred to the relevant authorities which impose penalties. He clarified the Companies Violations Department is linked with the Special Misdemeanors Department at the General Department for Investigation in the Ministry of Interior which refers violations to the Public Prosecution and then to the court.
