KUWAIT, Oct 30 (KUNA): The promotional tour for the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025 kicked off Thursday at The Avenues Mall, featuring a press conference and the launch of a special booth to engage fans and raise awareness about the upcoming tournament.

Executive Director of the Organizing Committee Ali Al-Mahmoud said the campaign, which runs until Sunday, aims to provide detailed information about the event and encourage fans to attend the matches.

He noted that Kuwait will face Mauritania on November 25 in Doha, with the winner advancing to join Group C alongside Egypt, Jordan, and the UAE. Al-Mahmoud emphasized the spirit of brotherhood and sportsmanship that defines the Arab Cup, adding that Qatar is fully prepared to host the competition thanks to its world-class infrastructure.

Al-Mahmoud highlighted that participating nations are eager to build on the success of the 2021 edition, also held in Doha, where Algeria was crowned champion.

He pointed out that the organizing committee is placing special focus on enhancing the fan experience, with tickets available at www.roadtoqatar.qa

. Ticket prices start at approximately KD 2, and around 400,000 tickets have already been sold.

The total prize pool for the tournament stands at USD 36 million, to be distributed among all participating teams.

The FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025 will take place from December 1 to 18, featuring 16 national teams competing for regional glory.
