KUWAIT CITY, Nov 4: The first Padel World Cup for men’s and women’s doubles has reached its third day at the Arena courts and the Rafa Nadal Academy, with top-ranked players now entering the fray.
The inaugural event, organized under the International Padel Federation (FIP) and concluding on November 9, features the world’s elite players. Leading the men’s doubles are world No. 1 Arturo Coello (Spain) and Agustin Tapia (Argentina), along with the world No. 3 pair Federico Chingotto (Argentina) and Alejandro Galán (Spain).
Walid Al-Saqqabi, member of the Supreme Organizing Committee and head of the media committee, highlighted the extensive global media coverage:
“We are committed to providing full technical and media support for international outlets that arrived early from around the world to cover 2025’s biggest Padel event. Complete infrastructure and advanced services have been set up for all accredited media.”
He also commended the Ministry of Information, newspapers, and social media platforms for their ongoing support in covering the championship.
