Female Doctor Apprehended Over Unlicensed Injection Services at Her Home

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 27: Kuwait’s Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) has apprehended a female doctor accused of advertising injection services involving substances not licensed by the Ministry of Health at her home in the Al-Masayel area.

PAM’s Labor Inspection Department said the doctor, who works as a general practitioner, was found advertising the services on social media following monitoring and follow-up.

The authority coordinated with the Ministry of Interior’s Criminal Security Sector and the Ministry of Health’s Medical Licensing and Drug Inspection departments before apprehending the doctor after obtaining the necessary approvals.

Legal and administrative measures were taken against the doctor, who was subsequently referred to the competent authorities.

PAM said it will continue monitoring and conducting inspections in coordination with relevant government agencies to identify violators and take action against practices that breach laws and regulations governing the labor market and professional activities.
