KUWAIT CITY, April 14: Subhan Club’s rider, Fawaz Al-Subaie, emerged victorious as the champion of the sixth round of the Kuwait Equestrian Federation League, following a fierce competition with other riders during the tournament held over Friday and Saturday at the Al-Masila Club track in Subhan. Sponsored by Zain, KGL, and Kuwait International Bank, this league showcased exceptional equestrian talent.

Al-Subaie demonstrated remarkable skill by navigating the 145 cm Grand Prix race flawlessly, completing it in 35.45 seconds, earning him the top spot after a stellar performance. He outshone competitors such as Anaz Al-Anaz, Ghazi Al-Jariwi, Ali Al-Kharafi, and Fahad Al-Faleh.

Expressing his joy at clinching the Grand Prix victory amidst stiff competition, Al-Subaie acknowledged the significant growth of Kuwaiti equestrianism season after season, attributing it to the unwavering support from the Kuwaiti Equestrian Federation and the pivotal role played by both the private and government sectors.

Meanwhile, Kuwait Club’s jockey, Ali Jassim Al-Kharafi, secured the title in the small prize race at a height of 135 cm. However, female jockey Nadia Al-Mutawa showcased her prowess by claiming victory in the sixth race at a height of 125 cm during the tournament’s second day of competitions.
