Father of children thanks the leadership

KUWAIT CITY, March 10: Sultan Nahar Al-Otaibi, the father of the eight Kuwaiti children who perished in a fire, thanked His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad for the message of condolences and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad for sending a similar message, reports Al-Anba daily.

Al-Otaibi in a brief statement to Al-Anba said the Abu Sharreen Al-Otaibi family sincerely thanks with gratitude HH the Amir, HH the Crown Prince, the government and the Kuwaiti people and brothers from the GCC countries for sharing the family grief following the loss of eight children and for their support and standing beside them in this great hour of sorrow.

Referring to the cable of condolences from HH the Amir he said it is not uncommon of a great leader of humanity.

In the meantime, a source familiar with the Kuwait Fire Services Directorate (KFSD) said the report on the cause of the fire is being finalized, pointing out that other parties are involved in preparing the report, including the Ministry of Interior and the Public Prosecution
