KUWAIT CITY, Jun 6: A Fatayer restaurant (Arabic Pizzas) were shut by the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition for violating health standards and hygiene requirements.

The presence of insects in the bakery led to the closure of the restaurant

Ali Hashim Al-Kandari, director of the Inspection Department in the authority stated that the decision to close down this restaurant was due to lack of compliance with health and technical requirements and hygiene standards, the violations were monitored and it was shut.

The Food Authority team shuts the restaurant

Al-Kandari stressed that the inspection campaigns will continue and will be on look out for the violators including in the isolated areas and all necessary measures will be taken to protect consumers and public health and achieve food and nutrition safety requirements.
