Dubai, Oct 30 (Agencies) : A 22-year-old prisoner lost his life in Bahrain’s Jaw Central Reform and Rehabilitation Centre, a high-security prison within the Kingdom, following a brawl among inmates, as confirmed by authorities.

The identity of the deceased remains undisclosed, and the incident occurred on a Friday afternoon at the facility.

Closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras recorded the altercation, providing officials with a comprehensive timeline of events.

The confrontation between prisoners unfolded at approximately 12:39 pm on October 27, 2023. Prison authorities promptly intervened to regain control of the situation, but despite medical efforts, the inmate tragically did not survive.
