Farwaniya Police Crack Down on Illicit Liquor Factory: Five Arrested

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 23: The Farwaniya police raided a big illicit liquor manufacturing operation run by five expatriates inside a rented residence in the Rabieh area, reports Al-Anba daily.

A reliable security source revealed that detectives received crucial information from reliable sources, indicating the presence of an underground liquor factory operated by five expatriates inside a house.

Subsequent investigation confirmed the accuracy of the information, establishing that the expatriates were indeed involved in the production of alcohol.

Consequently, a specialized team was formed, and after obtaining the necessary authorization from the prosecution, and executing a targeted raid on the premises housing the illicit factory the suspects were arrested, and the tools and containers utilized for the production of alcohol were confiscated.
