Farwaniya Illegal Home Kitchen Raided, 250 Kg of Expired and Adulterated Food Confiscated

KUWAIT CITY, May 12: Inspection teams from the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition, in cooperation with the Farwaniya Criminal Investigation Department, carried out a raid in Farwaniya Governorate that led to the discovery of an illegal kitchen being used from a house for preparing, handling, and selling food without the required health approvals and licenses.

The inspection campaign was led by Talal Al-Deihani, Director of the Farwaniya Inspection Department, along with supervisors and inspectors from the authority.

Officials said the operation resulted in the seizure and destruction of more than 250 kilograms of expired and adulterated food products. Legal measures were also taken against the violators.

The authority stressed that intensive inspection campaigns will continue across the country to protect consumer health and ensure food safety standards are upheld.
