Farwaniya Hospital Operating at Full Strength with 2,300 Morning, 600 Evening Patients

KUWAIT CITY, May 3: Dr. Mohammad Al- Rashidi, Director of the Farwaniya Health District, confirmed that Farwaniya Hospital continues to provide medical services with high efficiency, coinciding with the resumption of surgeries to full operational capacity in public hospitals. In a statement to Kuwait TV, Al-Rashidi revealed that surgeries scheduled through outpatient clinics resumed according to an operational plan based on electronic medical records to ensure organized appointments and expedited procedures. He then confirmed readiness in terms of capacity in the wards and operating rooms.

He pointed out that Farwaniya Hospital is considered one of the leading health facilities, as it includes operating rooms equipped with the latest technologies, including robotic and traditional surgeries. “It also provides comprehensive surgical services in various fields, including orthopedics, urology, neurology, vascular surgery, plastic surgery, ophthalmology, otolaryngology (ENT), and obstetrics and gynecology. He indicated that the hospital receives around 2,300 patients daily in the morning outpatient clinics and 600 in the evening, with radiology and physical therapy services continuing as per the schedule.

Regarding the Hajj season, Al-Rashidi confirmed that preventive health centers in the governorate are fully equipped to provide services to pilgrims, with streamlined procedures and electronic connectivity to improve the speed and accuracy of healthcare delivery. These efforts comply with the directives of the ministry, under the leadership of Minister of Health Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadhi, to improve healthcare services for citizens and residents
