Farwaniya Governor, Indian envoy vow to boost strategic cooperation

KUWAIT CITY, June 7: Governor of Farwaniya Sheikh Athbi Nasser Al-Athbi Al-Sabah had a meeting with Ambassador of the Republic of India to the State of Kuwait Paramita Tripathi at his office on Sunday. They talked about ways to strengthen bilateral relations and exchanged views on several topics of mutual interest. Sheikh Athbi Nasser welcomed Ambassador Tripathi, while confirming the deep-rooted and distinguished historical ties between Kuwait and India and the continuous development of such ties in various fields. He said the Farwaniya Governorate remains committed to enhancing communication and solidifying cooperation with all diplomatic missions to serve shared interests and strengthen the friendship between the two nations.

On the other hand, Ambassador Tripathi expressed her sincere gratitude to the Governor for the warm reception. She commended the governorate for its role in serving the community and affirmed that India is keen on bolstering cooperation and friendship with the State of Kuwait, wishing more progress and prosperity for Kuwait.
