NEW DELHI, Dec 5: Dinesh Phadnis, known for his role in 'CID,' passed away on December 5, as confirmed by his 'CID' co-star Dayanand Shetty. The 57-year-old actor, who had been on ventilator support, succumbed to extensive liver damage. Reports indicate that he breathed his last at 12:08 am on December 5 at Mumbai's Tunga Hospital. Experiencing multiple organ failure, he was taken off the ventilator on the preceding night.
