KUWAIT CITY, Nov 27: The latest official statistics obtained by Al-Seyassah/Arab Times from the Public Authority for Civil Information reveal that Kuwaiti society is predominantly characterized by a strong social and familial structure.
As of the middle of this year, there were 526,864 Kuwaiti citizens registered as spouses, while approximately 393,239 citizens remained unmarried. Conversely, the data shows that the number of expat bachelors/spinsters stood at 1,172,188, while 1,688,477 expatriates were reported as married. The total number of families in Kuwait reached 929,608 by the middle of the year, with approximately 325,852 being Kuwaiti families and 603,756 being expat families
