KUWAIT CITY, July 30: Under the patronage and in the presence of Farwaniya Governor Sheikh Athbi Al-Nasser Al-Athbi Al-Sabah, the Kuwait Society for the Prevention of Family Disintegration has organized an awareness program titled, “Eternal Harmony”. The objectives of the program were to address the causes of family disintegration and divorce, and build a balanced and stable married life. Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Society Khaled Al-Mutairi, psychological consultant and founding member Dr. Maryam Al-Azmi, social worker and marriage and family counselor Alaa Al-Nassar, and social worker specializing in marital relations Nadia Al-Bin Ali warmly welcomed the Governor at the event. The program featured interactive workshops to raise public awareness and promote the status of marital and family life, with several residents of the governorate in attendance.

Speaking at the event, Sheikh Athbi Al-Nasser affirmed “we are committed to continue the implementation of such community initiatives, which strengthen family cohesion and enhance its status in the Kuwaiti society, as the family is the cornerstone of building a stable and secure society. We commend the organizers of this program for effectively playing their national and social roles.” At the conclusion of the program, the chairman and members of the association expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Governor for his presence and sponsorship of the event; as well as his unwavering support for community initiatives and programs, particularly those aimed at improving the status of the family in the Governorate.
