WASHINGTON, Jan 24, (Agencies): The families of three men, whose bodies were discovered in a friend’s backyard in Kansas City, Missouri, on Jan 9, are grappling with concerns about the circumstances surrounding their loved ones’ fate.

Caleb McGeeney, the cousin of victim Clayton McGeeney, expressed deep sorrow, stating, “Just the thought of him dying and then sitting outside in the cold for two days. It’s extremely devastating. The whole family is messed up. He was such a good person.”

Clayton, along with Ricky Johnson and David Harrington, was found dead in their friend Jordan Willis’ backyard, just two days after the group gathered to watch a Kansas City Chiefs game at Willis’ residence on January 7.

Jordan Willis, through his attorney, has strongly denied any wrongdoing or knowledge of the events leading to the men’s deaths. As of now, Willis has not faced charges, and authorities are treating the case as a “death investigation.”

Amidst the unfolding tragedy, numerous questions surround the mysterious deaths. A woman searching for her fiancé discovered a body on Willis’ porch on January 9. The Kansas City Police Department (KCPD) reported that they found a deceased individual after responding to the woman’s distress call.

“Upon further investigation, officers located two other dead bodies in the backyard,” said a KCPD spokesperson. Despite the discovery, no apparent signs of foul play were observed at or near the crime scene, according to the spokesperson. It remains the case that no foul play was either observed or suspected.

The cause of death is pending determination by the medical examiner, and an ongoing investigation is being conducted by the Kansas City police.
