Fake stamps seized from a Bangladeshi; Drugs with Sri Lankan

KUWAIT CITY, March 5: Personnel from the Criminal Investigations Department have arrested a Bangladeshi for consuming drugs, reports Al-Shahed daily. The daily added, acting on a tip-off police raided the house of the suspect and found in his possession drug consuming tools and 3,978 fake revenue stamps, two high resolution printers and two hard disks. Meanwhile, the Farwaniya police have arrested an unidentified Asian for consuming alcohol, reports Al-Anba daily. The suspect was caught by police because he was semi — clad and discovered he was under the influence of alcohol.

Drugs with Lankan: A Sri Lankan expatriate was arrested in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area in possession of 20 sachets of marijuana. According to security sources, Farwaniya securitymen were patrolling Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area when they suspected an Asian expatriate, stopped him and checked him to find the marijuana in his possession. He was arrested and referred with the confiscated drug to the Drugs Control General Department. Meanwhile, Farwaniya securitymen arrested a Kuwaiti citizen in possession of a sachet of heroin in Farwaniya area. He was referred with the heroin to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.
