Fake medicines seized

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 24: The Assistant Undersecretary for Drug and Food Control Affairs at the Ministry of Health, Dr Abdullah Al-Bader, announced that the members of one of the inspection committees have seized quantities of counterfeit and forbidden medicines and unregistered food products and supplements from a shop in the Capital Governorate, reports Al-Rai daily.
The seizures were done based on violation of Law 28/1996 and ministerial decisions regulating the circulation of medicines and health products in the State of Kuwait. The concerned person has been referred to the Public Prosecution
