KUWAIT CITY, Sep 8: An Indian worker in Farwaniya reported that two individuals stopped him, with one allegedly claiming to be a cop, and asked to see his identification. While one of the men searched him, the other stood nearby, after which they allegedly took KD 450 by force and fled in a vehicle. The victim said a colleague witnessed the incident and added that he had been preparing to travel the following day for his wife’s medical treatment.
Public prosecutors ordered the registration of the mugging case and directed the Criminal Investigation Department to conduct further investigations to identify and apprehend those responsible and determine the full circumstances of the incidents.
