KUWAIT CITY, Nov 1: The Fahaheel Zakat, affiliated with the Programs and Projects Sector of the Al-Najat Charitable Society, opened an orphanage and two mosques in Al-Mawasit Bani Yusuf District in Yemen, in the presence of Al-Fahaheel Zakat Director, Ihab Al-Dabbous, and a group of Yemeni officials.

Al-Dabbous said, in a press statement, that the crisis that the Yemeni people are experiencing has had many repercussions, including the presence of thousands of orphans who need care and basic needs of food, clothing, and education.

He added, "This year, we established two orphanages from which 120 orphans benefit. We also sponsor orphans in Yemen in cooperation with approved implementing agencies, and we are keen to inspect them and distribute sponsorships, clothing, and Eid gifts to them."

He pointed out that the “Fahaheel Zakat” has a large number of projects in Yemen, including building schools, mosques, clinics, homes for the poor, and digging wells, as well as financing productive projects that provide needy families with a stable income.

During the opening, the Undersecretary of Taiz Governorate for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Khaled Abdul Jalil, appreciated the unlimited support that the State of Kuwait, Amir, government, and people, have provided to the Yemeni people for decades, and its standing by Yemen in these difficult circumstances by financing a large number of charitable and development projects.
