LOS ANGELES, Nov 13, (Agencies): Anne Hathaway reflects on the early days of her career when she was cautioned about a looming expiration date in the entertainment industry. Recalling her start as a child in the business, the 41-year-old actress reveals, “I was warned that my career would fall off a cliff at the age of 35, which is something I know a lot of women face.” However, she acknowledges a positive shift, noting, “The thing that has evolved during [that time] is that more women are having careers deeper into their lives, which I think is fantastic.”

Despite her Oscar-winning success and over two decades in the industry, Hathaway remains grounded and realistic. “Obviously, it doesn’t mean we should have a ticker-tape parade — someone said this to me the other day: ‘There’s so much to be proud of and there’s so much to fix,'” she adds. The actress, known for her ambition, emphasizes that she continues to pursue her goals and dreams with the same fervor she had in her youth.

Away from the spotlight, Hathaway, a mother of two, is notably private about her personal life. She explains, “It’s something I feel is not just essential for my health — I’m on a team, it’s my family, and it’s not just about me.” In a recent interview, she briefly touched on the topic of aging, asserting that it’s “just another word for living.” Hathaway emphasizes the personal choices one makes with the passing years, stating, “And what you do with it from there is personal and up to you.” She proudly expresses feeling better in her 40s, attributing it to improved self-care compared to her 20s.
