Facilitating procedures for ‘domestic’ laborers at airport to cost KD 900,000

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 7: The estimated cost for facilitating procedures for domestic laborers at Kuwait International Airport is more than KD 900,000, reports Al-Rai daily quoting informed sources.

They explained that the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) sent a letter to the State Audit Bureau regarding Tender No. 4/2017/2018 to provide services for facilitating procedures for domestic laborers at Kuwait International Airport as part of the pre-monitoring procedures of the bureau. The letter sent by DGCA revealed that the estimated cost of the tender is more than KD 903,000.

Meanwhile, another letter sent by DGCA reveals about other projects such as the supervision for construction of the new headquarters, multi-storey car-park building, and central and western buildings of fire stations. The developmental plan of DGCA also includes the project for upgrading Radar station (THALES) based on Contract No. 37/2017/2018 at a cost of about KD 1 million.
