Explosions Reported in Southern Iran, Including Qeshm Island, Jask and Bandar Abbas

TEHRAN, Jun 10: The US airstrikes reportedly targeted Iran’s Sirik and Jask naval bases, an air defence position in Bandar Abbas, as well as coastal missile batteries in Minab and on Qeshm Island, including facilities near the port of Qeshm, according to unofficial reports from local media in Iran’s Hormozgan province.

Separately, Vahid Online reported receiving accounts of additional blasts in the strategic port city of Bandar Abbas, though details remain unclear.

Authorities have not yet confirmed the cause of the explosions or reported any casualties or damage.

The incidents come amid heightened regional tensions, with Iranian officials and media closely monitoring developments in key coastal and maritime areas along the Strait of Hormuz.
