Explosions Reported Across Tehran, Natanz, Shiraz, Bushehr and Bandar Abbas

TEHRAN, Apr 6: Explosions were reported in several locations across Iran in recent hours, including the capital Tehran as well as Natanz, Shiraz, Bushehr and Bandar Abbas, according to accounts from rescue and emergency authorities.

Local reports indicated that multiple areas in and around the capital, along with several provincial sites, were affected as authorities responded to what were described as coordinated incidents across different regions.

The incidents come amid heightened regional tensions, with Iranian authorities yet to issue detailed confirmation on the cause or scale of the reported blasts. Emergency and rescue teams have been deployed to assess the situation and secure affected locations.

Also, airstrikes hit multiple Iranian airports today, including in Kashan in central Iran, Konarak in the southeast, and Urmia and Khoy in the northwest, according to state media. The strikes followed earlier attacks on three airports in Tehran, including Mehrabad.
