DOHA, Jun 22: An explosion caused by a technical incident occurred at a factory in Qatar’s Ras Laffan Industrial City on Sunday, authorities said.
Qatar’s Interior Ministry said in a statement that civil defense teams responded immediately to the site and were working to handle the situation.
The ministry confirmed that no injuries had been reported and said there was no dangerous leak posing a threat to public safety.
No further details were immediately available regarding the cause of the technical incident or the extent of damage at the facility.
