KUWAIT CITY, Jun 24: The Public Food and Nutrition Authority, in cooperation with the General Department of Criminal Investigation at the Ministry of Interior, has seized three food establishments operating illegally from private residences in Al Jahra Governorate.

The inspection raids resulted in the closure of one restaurant and two grocery stores found to be operating without the required health licenses. Authorities also recorded violations related to handling and selling food in unsanitary conditions.

During the operation, inspectors seized adulterated and expired food products found at the sites.

The Authority said legal measures have been taken against the violators, stressing that inspection campaigns will continue to protect public health and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
