KUWAIT CITY, Nov 29: Abdullah Al-Rajhi, the official spokesperson for the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), announced that the authority is acting on a technical bulletin issued by Airbus requiring mandatory updates to several safety-related systems on the A320 aircraft model. He clarified that these updates form part of essential procedures aimed at enhancing and strengthening the operational safety of the A320, which is among the most widely used aircraft globally.
Al-Rajhi noted that the implementation of these safety procedures may cause minor delays or adjustments to flight schedules in the coming period. He stressed, however, that such measures are necessary to ensure the continued safety and reliability of air travel.
He reaffirmed that the safety of passengers and flight crews remains GACA’s highest priority, adding that these actions reflect the authority’s ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality within the civil aviation sector.
