KUWAIT CITY, Mar 12: The Ministry of the Interior has begun preparing to launch security campaigns in various areas in Kuwait during the suspension period (12 Mar - 26 Mar), in order to control expats who entered the country after a day February 27 and do not adhere to home quarantine procedures.

Source said that the Interior Ministry’s undersecretary, Lieutenant-General Issam Al-Naham, held an meeting this morning and it was agreed that those expatriates who are arrested for not adhering the rules set by MOH would be transferred to the deportation prison.

The sources added that the security officers at the checkpoints will ask the civil of the expatriate and through the civil number they can know the date of the entry of the expatriate to the country which will be verified with the relevant security authorities who are assigned to coordinate with the officers who are carrying inspection campaigns in which it will be revealed to them the date of entry.
