KUWAIT CITY, May 18: With disregard to the law set by the Council of Ministers and the Municipality in a broad daylight when people generally fast due to Ramadan, a group of expatriates secretly opened a coffee shop in the Hawally area and were caught smoking shisha.

The inspectors of the Hawally municipality branch upon instructions from the branch chief Eng. Ahmed Al-Hazeem, monitored the café and found that people were inside and smoking shisha.

After enough of evidence was collected after raiding the café they hunted down the captors and referred to Al-Nugra police station and the cafe was sealed immediately.

The deputy head of the team, Ibrahim Al-Sabaan stated that all the cafes are under supervision, in addition to having a special phone number to receive complaints around the clock.
