KUWAIT CITY, Aug 3: Despite the completion of preparations by the Directorate-General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to implement the Cabinet decision to allow the vaccinated non-Kuwaitis to return to the country from Sunday, a source at Kuwait International Airport confirmed there will be no noticeable change in movement of returning passengers, reports Al-Qabas daily. The source said nothing new is visible on the ground when speaking of the new decision to allow the vaccinated residents to return to the country since the number of people expected to enter is the same as it was in the month of July.

The movement of travelers looks routine. However, the source also added that the agencies operating at the airport, including the civil aviation, the offices of the ministries of Interior, Health, the customs authorities and ground services companies, are fully prepared to receive arrivals according to a logistical plan that has been prepared to manage the movement of passengers from the moment they get off the planes until they leave the airport in accordance with health requirements. Although there is no significant change in the flight schedules and the number of flights, the airport preparation highlights implementation of a logistical plan involving several parties to facilitate the movement of passengers; check the devices, equipment and operating systems; field teams working around the clock and an increase in the number of counters.
