KUWAIT CITY, Mar 09: The Sabhan Health Center witnessed, yesterday, large crowd of expats who arrived to Kuwait in past few days yet again who were subjected to health monitoring and to complete compulsory procedures of their health checks.

Health sources confirmed that the center deployed additional medical personnel's which improved workflow and mechanism as compared to the first day and to continue with this performance.

The Ministry of Health has directed all expats who arrived from India, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Egypt, Syria, Sri Lanka, Lebanon, Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Georgia to health centers as per the guidelines set.

The instructions on monitoring card specifies to follow necessary steps to be taken or else will be subjected as offender according to Amiri Decree No. 33 of 1960 and Decree No. 8 of 1969. Which stipulates that the offender shall be punished by imprisonment for a period not exceeding one month, and a fine not exceeding 50 dinars, or one of these two penalties.

Expats coming from India, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Egypt, Syria, Sri Lanka, Lebanon, Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Georgia have to report to health centers mentioned behind the card, within 72 hours of entering the country. (Al Rai)
