Expat Husband Accused of Assaulting Wife and Issuing Death Threats

KUWAIT CITY, Sep 18: The Deputy Public Prosecutor issued an order to arrest and interrogate an expatriate in connection with a case involving assault and death threats.

According to a security source, a 23-year-old expatriate woman filed a report at Hawally and Al-Shaab Police Stations, alleging that her 25-year-old husband, also an expatriate, assaulted her during a dispute in a hotel. The disagreement escalated, and the husband allegedly threatened to kill her. The fight took place at a hotel in Al-Shaab Al-Bahri, on the 10th floor, room 1000. The woman also claimed that her husband pushed her against a glass shower cabin, causing injuries.

She submitted a medical report from a government hospital, detailing abrasions and bruises, though no fractures were reported. The case has been handed over to detectives for further investigation, and authorities are seeking to arrest and question the husband.
