KUWAIT CITY, March 30: An unidentified expatriate has filed a complaint with the Mubarak Al- Kabeer police station, accusing a Kuwaiti man of implicating him in three serious violations, reports Al-Anba daily. According to the complainant, the Kuwaiti had asked for his driver’s license ostensibly to rent a vehicle from a specialized company.

The man explained that the Kuwaiti claimed he could not rent a vehicle using his license saying some obstacles prevented him from doing so. The expatriate added he was surprised when he received letters indicating three serious violations associated with the rented vehicle. Upon investigation with the General Traffic Department, it was found that the vehicle rented under the informant’s name had been delivered to a juvenile who did not possess a driving license and had subsequently been arrested for reckless driving. The informant asserted that he is not acquainted with the juvenile who had misused the vehicle. Additionally, a case was registered under the title “Handing a vehicle to a person who does not have a driving license.”
