Excitement builds for Arab Elite Tennis Championship  

DOHA, Dec 21: The kickoff of the third edition of the Arab Elite Tennis Championship is set for Sunday in Doha, Qatar, graciously sponsored by Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait and KGL. A total of 16 players, representing 8 Arab countries, will compete in this highly anticipated event.

The tournament organizing committee will convene for a press conference at the Dusit Hotel in Doha tomorrow to delve into the tournament's details. Following the press conference, the tournament draw ceremony will promptly take place.

All matches of the championship will unfold on the courts of the Khalifa International Tennis Complex. Participation is exclusive to players boasting international rankings in the ATP.

The Arab Tennis Federation expressed its gratitude to the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Tennis Federation for hosting the prestigious tournament in "Doha Al Arab." Special thanks were also extended to Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait, the primary sponsor, and KGL Company for their steadfast support and sponsorship for the third consecutive year. The Federation further acknowledged the collaboration and commitment of BeIN Sports channels in broadcasting the final round matches.

Participants in this esteemed Arab event started arriving in the capital, Dohawith the remaining players scheduled to arrive today.

Lebanese tennis star Hani Habib, expressing eagerness for the competition, affirmed his readiness to participate. He looks forward to building on his past success, having clinched the title in the inaugural edition held in Kuwait in 2021. Habib expressed gratitude to the Arab Tennis Federation for their consistent efforts in organizing the tournament and extended appreciation to the Qatari Federation for hosting the event for the third consecutive year.
