KUWAIT CITY, Oct 17: The Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Adel Al-Mana, has issued a decision regarding flexible working hours in the ministry’s sectors, reports Al-Rai daily.
An educational source said according to the decision the timings remain the same as those approved by the former Minister of Education, Dr. Hamad Al-Adwani, with the exception of the Information Systems Department, where the working hours of its employees were moved forward from 7 am to 2 pm. For the rest of the sectors, the timings remain the same from Sunday to Thursday, 7 hours per day.
The source said that these dates were approved at the request of all sectors of the ministry during a meeting with the administrative sector who confirmed their desire to continue working on the same pattern without any change.
