Former international referee Essa Al-Jassass Former international referee Essa Al-Jassass

Former international Kuwaiti football referee Essa Al-Jassass recently died in the United States of America after a long illness, reports Al-Qabas daily. The late Al-Jassass is known for exerting tremendous efforts to promote Kuwait soccer during world meets.

He is known to have made several contributions to the Kuwait Club where he was director of stadium. In 2012 FIFA rankings Al-Jassass held the 135th position in the world.
