Eve-teasers attack police

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 13: Security operatives apprehended some civilians who engaged members of a security patrol team in a public brawl at a fuel station in Al-Qadsiya area. A video clip of the incident went viral on social media, reports Al-Jarida daily. General Department of Public Relations and Media Security stated rescue officers at the Operations Room received a call that some youths were blocking the traffic flow and teasing women. The officers arrived at the scene and found the youths constituting a nuisance. They dispersed them to pave the way for traffic but four youths inside a car resisted the police order and attacked the officers in the course of duty. They requested reinforcement and rounded up the suspects. They have since been detained at Da’iya Police Station.
