Etihad Urges Passengers Not to Travel to the Airport as Flights Remain Suspended

DUBAI, Mar 2: Etihad Airways announced that all scheduled commercial flights to and from Abu Dhabi will remain suspended until 2 p.m. UAE time on Wednesday, March 4. The airline noted that certain repositioning, cargo, and repatriation flights may still operate in coordination with UAE authorities, subject to strict safety and operational clearances.

Etihad urged passengers not to travel to the airport unless they have been directly contacted by the airline and advised to do so.

Travelers holding Etihad tickets issued on or before February 28, 2026, with original travel dates up to March 7, 2026, may rebook their flights free of charge on Etihad-operated services through March 18, 2026.

Passengers scheduled to travel on or before March 7 may also request a refund via etihad.com/en/help/refund-form or through their travel agent. Customers who booked via agencies are advised to contact their agents directly.
