Ethiopian Woman Stabbed 3 Times in Jahra, Husband Arrested While Hiding

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 25: An Ethiopian woman was stabbed to death inside an apartment in Kuwait’s Jahra Governorate, with police later arresting her husband in connection with the killing.

According to initial investigations, the suspect, an Ethiopian man born in 1987, allegedly stabbed the woman three times with a knife before fleeing the scene. Police and paramedics rushed to the apartment after receiving the report, while a Prosecutor’s Deputy and forensic experts examined the crime scene and removed the victim’s body.

Following an intensive search, Jahra Governorate Police Investigation Department officers tracked down and arrested the suspect, who was found hiding at a friend’s residence. Preliminary investigations indicated that marital infidelity was the suspected motive for the killing. Authorities are continuing their investigation to establish the full circumstances surrounding the case and complete the necessary legal procedures.
