KUWAIT CITY, Aug 20: An Ethiopian gang specializing in robbing shops, restaurants, and exchange offices has been apprehended. As part of the Ministry of Interior’s ongoing efforts to combat crime, ensure public safety, and apprehend criminals, the General Department of Criminal Investigations, through the "Hawalli Governorate Investigations Department," successfully arrested a gang of five Ethiopian nationals involved in these robberies.

The investigation began following a report of a nighttime robbery at an exchange office. A search and investigation team from the Salmiya Police Station was quickly assembled. By intensifying their efforts, utilizing modern technology, and closely monitoring the crime scene, the suspects were identified and subsequently arrested. During questioning, the suspects confessed to all the charges against them. They have been handed over to the relevant authorities for the necessary legal actions.
