KUWAIT CITY, Oct 10: Detectives from the Hawally Governorate Criminal Investigation Department have arrested four Ethiopian nationals suspected of stealing approximately KD 50,000 from a Kuwaiti citizen’s vehicle in Salmiya.

According to the Criminal Investigation Department, the suspects allegedly staked out a bank and followed the victim after he left carrying the cash. They then smashed a window of his vehicle, stole the money and fled the scene.

One suspect was arrested within 24 hours of the incident and confessed to the crime, identifying his alleged accomplices, the department said. The remaining suspects were subsequently apprehended, and the suspects, along with the recovered money, were referred to the competent authorities for legal action.
