KUWAIT CITY, Nov 25: Abdul Rahman Al-Fazia, an accomplished equestrian, secured the championship title at the Al-Messila Club Show Jumping Championship. The event, held at the Al-Messila Equestrian Club track in the Subhan area, drew a significant turnout, with over 350 male and female riders representing various local clubs.
In the main stage's differentiation round at a height of 130 cm, Al-Fuzaie demonstrated exceptional skill, clocking the fastest time at 38.69 seconds with no penalty points. He outpaced competitors such as Fawaz Al-Subaie, Ghazi Al-Jariwi, Hamad Al-Hajri, Shaker Al-Kazemi, and Ahmed Al-Ansari.
At the 120 cm height level, jockey Nick Channing claimed the top spot, followed by Ali Al-Sayegh and Madi Al-Khamis. In the third round at a height of 110 cm, jockey Mohammed Al-Shammari secured the lead.
The refereeing committee, led by Nadhar Al-Mustafa and featuring Raghad Al-Dabbous, Lama Abdel-Al, and Ali Hussein, ensured fair play. The meticulously designed track was the work of Bahraini coach Adnan Al-Alawi, with assistance from Ghadeer Nemati. Badr Al-Haifi served as the arena referee, and Shahad Awad managed the warm-up field.
Adnan Al-Alawi, the coach of the Messila Equestrian Club, highlighted the championship as the kickoff for the sports season at the Messila Club. The robust participation, especially in the beginner category rounds, reflects the growing enthusiasm for equestrian sports in Kuwait.
