Environmental team tests rain water outlets in four locations

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 11: The joint environmental team comprising members from the Ministry of Public Works and the Environment Public Authority carried out a field tour of the rainwater exits in the Hawalli and Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorates, which included inspecting the exits near Dar Salwa and the ‘Radisson SAS Blue’, as well as in the Abu Al Hassaniya area and inside the National Guard Officers Club in Mubarak Al-Kabeer.

The Ministry of Public Works said in a press statement the mobile laboratory was used to conduct the required laboratory tests by the Laboratory and Environmental Studies Department of the Environmental Affairs Department in the Sanitary Engineering Sector of the Ministry of Works.

The ministry added the joint team undertook a sampling process to conduct the required laboratory tests, with an assurance that in the event there was an increase in the percentage of pollutants, a field survey will be made for the entire network to find out the cause of pollution.
