KUWAIT CITY, Feb 1, (KUNA): The inaugural Kuwaiti-Emirati “Challenge” School Football Tournament kicked off on Saturday at Sulaibikhat Sports Club, under the patronage of Minister of Education Sayed Jalal Al-Tabtabai.

The opening match saw Kuwait A and UAE B share the spoils in an entertaining 3–3 draw, while the second fixture between Kuwait B and UAE A also ended level at 2–2.

The tournament is played in a six-a-side format, with matches held on reduced-size pitches to suit the smaller number of players. Each game lasts 50 minutes.
