LONDON, July 26 : The English Premier League season ended Sunday with Liverpool FC as champion, Manchester City second, Manchester United third, and Chelsea FC fourth.

Leicester City, the 2015-16 champion, won fifth place after losing against Man. United, while Tottenham Hotspur came sixth, followed by Wolverhampton.


Aston Villa managed to avoid relegation to the first division after a 1-1 draw with West Ham United, however Bournemouth, Watford and Norwich City lost their places in the Premier League after a tough season.


Leicester City's Jamie Vardy won the Premier League Golden Boot for the leagues top scorer after netting 23 goals, one more than Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Southamptons Danny Ings.
The Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson took the Golden Glove award for the most clean sheets after Manchester Citys 5-0 win over relegated Norwich took him to 16 for the season(KUNA)
