2 injured in incident involving man with bladed weapon in Edinburgh

LONDON, March 2, (Xinhua): Two people were injured Monday after armed police responded to a "man with a bladed weapon" in the Calder area of Edinburgh, Scotland, Sky News reported.

Both Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Service have confirmed the number of people injured. "We transported two patients to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary," Sky News quoted the Scottish Ambulance Service as saying.

Police said the incident is not being treated as terror-related, and investigations are ongoing.
