KUWAIT CITY, Aug 15: The Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Tokyo has issued a warning to Kuwaiti citizens in Japan to exercise extreme caution due to a recent alert from the Japanese Meteorological Agency about an approaching strong typhoon. In a statement received by Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Thursday, the embassy urged all Kuwaiti citizens to follow the instructions provided by Japanese authorities as Typhoon No. 7 nears Japanese territory.
The typhoon is expected to strike northern and eastern Japan with significant intensity between August 16 and 17. The embassy has advised citizens to stay informed and adhere to local safety protocols.
In case of any emergencies, the embassy has provided two contact numbers for assistance: the embassy’s emergency number at 0081-90-8884-9650 and the Ministry's emergency number at 00965-159.
