KUWAIT CITY, Mar 1: In a show of solidarity and reassurance, Paramita Tripathi, Ambassador of India to Kuwait, held a virtual meeting with around 100 prominent members of the Indian community and heads of Indian associations across the country.
During the interaction, the Ambassador briefed participants on recent regional developments and reaffirmed the Embassy’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding the safety, security, and welfare of Indian nationals residing in Kuwait.
She commended the community’s proactive spirit and readiness to extend support to those in need, highlighting the importance of constructive, coordinated and responsible engagement during challenging times. The meeting underscored the strong sense of unity within the Indian diaspora and the Embassy’s continued outreach to ensure timely assistance and clear communication.
Meanwhile, the Embassy of India in Kuwait continues to extend assistance to Indian nationals stranded in the country following the temporary shutdown of airspace.
In a statement, Embassy officials said they remain in close contact with affected passengers and are actively coordinating with the relevant local authorities, hotel managements where the stranded nationals are accommodated, and the respective airlines to facilitate necessary arrangements.
The Embassy affirmed that it is closely monitoring the situation and is providing all possible support to ensure the safety, comfort and well-being of Indian citizens until normal flight operations resume.
